My opinion of what is too much flavor is less of a matter of amount and more of a matter of control. If you let the flavor take control of the game, then that is when there is to much. If you need a page for all of your flavor that is fine, but when you get to the point where it is affecting the game outside the bounds of the rules it's a problem. Let the game affect the flavor, not the other way around.

Fixed that for you.

Also, games where flavor affects the game can be awesome but are, by necessity, borderline bastard mod at best because of the unpredictable way it can go.

*cough*

I don't know what category BMIX goes in, then.  Perhaps that was a bit too much flavor.

If it was a bastard mod then that would be a part
of the rules to start with so not an example of flavor
affecting the rules.

Also for his screen name being a complete sentence, using "hearted" as a verb.

No, Akhier is the name with "the Dragon hearted" being
a title. Also I am using it correctly for what I am doing,
though I should probably have it be Dragonhearted or
Dragon-hearted.

having a specified kind of heart  (now used only in combination): hardhearted; sad-hearted.

I actual when needing a name first and last, use
Akhier Dragonheart.

Oh hah, those are actual cherries too. I just sort of assumed they were edited/generated to make that shape.

hmmmm...
What about A food based flavor?
How would that work?
and what kind of game mechanic would it go with?

Check out Mafia Salad. The flavour was deliciously punny. And the PM flavour for Kamina's death was killer!

I was actually considering running one of those, too... you'll see.  It'd be cute.
