The dog holds its grip as the turtle attempts to shake it off! It turns its light on full, and the heat starts to build! The turtle sends currents through its leg, shocking the dog, who continues to hold!

Furtuka relays orders to his snake, who goes for the scorpion's tail! The whirling blades slice it badly, but the snake manages to break them!

Nat attacks the bird, her marble hitting it squarely before it flies higher, out of range!

Sudsy and the wind bird are still slinging elemental attacks at each other, but both are slowing down, running out of energy! Soon, they'll need to resort to physical attacks to battle! Sudsy launches another stream of bubbles, but his opponent evades, hitting him with a destablizing gust of wind!

Kaguro launches a heavier attack, more confident now that the spinning tail blade has been destroyed. He dances around the scorpion, cutting and thrusting with his spear! As he readies another strike, he is hit with a strong impact to his back legs! He falls over, the boulder snake coiling around his lower body!

It means that if one of the players leaves the game, you're a candidate for replacing them.

After the game ends, either by natural story progression or loss of player interest, waiting list people will be given first dibs at a spot on the new game.
Or, if a current player withdraws, I may decide to insert a waiting list person.

Wallace releases his hammer lobster, and it immediately skitters towards the dog-turtle battle!
Taller Boy: "Hey! This is a five-on-five battle, we agreed to it!"
Shorter Boy: "No fair, you're cheating!"

The lobster grabs the dog in its claws, tearing it off the turtle and bashing it into the ground! The turtle joins on, rearing up and stomping on it repeatedly!
The tall boy recalls it, before it's completely broken.
Taller Boy: "Cheater! Blades, Morty, sic 'im!"

The boulder snake and scorpion break off their attacks, and gang up on the lobster! The snake coils around it, constricting it while the scorpion lays in with its claws!

While this is happening, Sudsy begins losing his battle edge! While still able to avoid the majority of his opponent's elemental attacks, the physical attacks are hitting harder! Both birds are looking pretty beat up!

Nat, unable to continue attacking the bird, sets her sights on the boulder snake! She throws hard at the immobile target, beaning it in the side of the head!

Kaguro stretches his freed legs, and moves to attack the snake! Coiled around the lobster and dazed, it makes an easy target for him to slash at!

Furtuka slips his remaining health chip into the snake's cube, and watches it heal to near full health! It slithers off to take revenge!
The scorpion notices it before it moves in to attack, and readies itself! This has near no effect, as without its tail it presents little danger to an unrestrained opponent! The pencil snake deftly avoids its slow claws, strikinf it in the face several times!

The lightning bird turns slow, almost lazy circles above the battle. With each passing moment, the ambient electricity builds, charging the clouds and air!
