Oops, sorry, The Internet must have eaten my post or something. Please auto me to follow the group if it happens again.

I travel with the group, but let's go to wherever the easiest gym is. Or just the nearest, I guess.

Nat returns home, meeting her father in the living room.
Nat: "Hey dad. I'm leaving to follow Grandfather's path now. I'll be back... When I get back."
Her mother enters, and the three embrace wordlessly. Nat catches a final glance at the portrait above the fireplace. Eyes that penetrate everything before them although only paint on canvas bore into her.
With her resolve strengthening, she leaves to adventure.

Furtuka enters his home a second time, and is greeted by his father.
Dad: "Well, back so soon, son?"
His mouth curles into a smile around his pipe as Furtuka asks for advice.
Dad: "Well, when I was your age my first Pin came from Burance Fight Club, in the town of Burance to the north. Nunally to the west is closer, but their Boss is said to be a bit stronger. Nunally is a also a bit of a dead end, being near the mountains. If we had a map, I could show you, but I lost my old one a long time ago."

Wallace sets himself down in front of the Shop, and starts reading his book.
He glances at the contents, and decides that although battle info would be more immediately interesting, he might as well get some technical stuff out of the way.

As an Adventurer, it is your duty to understand the Objecticon of the world, and how to face each. This chapter is focused on the strengths and weaknesses of the different types of Objecticon, and what sets them apart.

Animals vs Objects
Animal Objecticon are those Objecticon that are captured and tamed from the wild. They may exist outside of an Objecticube for as long as you wish, and in fact do not require one to function.
An Animal is upgraded by inserting cubes into naturally-occuring slots on the Animal's body, which will change the animal in a way unique to the individual.
In the majority of situations, an animal must be captured and trained before it may be used in battle.

Object Objecticon are those Objecticon that are created by a cube holding an inanimate object being stored on an Objectibelt or Objectibracer. They can exist outside of their cube for long periods of time, but will almost universally return to their cube when unattended. They require a cube to function.
An Object is upgraded by inserting Upgrade Chips into the Object's cube, which will enhance the Object differently depending on the type of Chip used.
Objects must be stored onto a cube to be used in battle, and will almost always be an effective weapon, even if their source object is not.

Summons vs Weapons
Note: This section applies only to Object Objecticon. Animals are unchanged by the usage of their cube.
Summons (sometimes called Object Animals) are the result of a filled Objecticube being placed in an Objectibelt. They transform the source object into a creature suitable for battle. These creatures differ from animals in that they will not exit their cube unless called, and will immediately return to their cube when they are not needed. They are capable of understanding complex commands, and the summoner (Trainer) retains a link with them at all times.

Weapons are the result of a filled Objecticube being placed in an Objectibracer. They transform the source object into a piece of equipment that may be wielded by the user. Weapons will usually give the User an innate ability to perform the intended action of the weapon while they are in use.
Example: A gun-type Objecticon will give basic marksmanship skills to the User while it is being wielded, and those skills will disappear when the Objecticon is no longer used.

The book itself is pretty small, and the writing is infuriatingly tiny to match.

Animals are creatures which wander most areas, occuring naturally from many sources. They are as intelligent as Summons, but usually lack their perfect disipline.
An animal must be trained before it is of use, and training is possible via interaction with a human from birth, or from usage of a Taming Chip.

Unlike Object Objecticon, Animal Objecticon will not be effected by being placed in an Objectibelt or bracer. The form they take is dependant on their Type, Species, and Modifications.

Type, Species, and Modifications
Type indicates the abilities and origin of the Animal.
Examples: Stone, Electric, Water, Wood, and many others.
Type may be modified slightly by use of Modifications.

Species is the description of the Animal's body structure.
Examples: Rodent, Cat, Fish, Bird, Sea Serpent, and many others.
Species may be modified slightly by use of Modifications.

Modifications are a special kind of Upgrade exclusive to Animals.
To use a Modification, an Objecticube is fitted into an Animal's Slot(s). If the cube contains a normal object, it will enhance the Animal. If the cube contains an Objecticon, it will both enhance the Animal and alter it in some way.
Example: Three Electric Rodents are Modified.
Rodent 1 recieves a cube containing an iron ball. It gains Endurance and characteristics of iron. It is now an Electric Iron Rodent.
Rodent 2 recieves a cube containing an Iron Hedgehog (Iron ball previously placed in a belt). It gain Endurance, and characteristics of both iron and hedgehogs. This result would likely* be the same if the cube had contained an Iron Hedgehog Animal. It is now an Electric Iron Hedgerodent.
Redent 3 recieves a cube containing an Iron Cludgel (Iron ball previously placed in a bracer). It gains Endurance, and may be altered in some way* related to iron or cludgels. It may gain iron armor, or teeth, or may develop a larger, harder tail.

*Certain Modifications are unpredictable and seemingly random. While a Modification will not change while applied, de-applying and re-applying a Modification has a chance of changing the outcome.

This path seems more active than the path to Bushels.
