Wallace and Furtuka meet, and Furtuka asks how the battle went.
Wallace: "I won, of course! Could you call Nathan so we can get that reward?"
Furtuka calls Nathan, and he and Wallace report their success'
Nathan: "REALLY, YOU BEAT HIM WITH ONE GUY? I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE MORE THAN THAT."
"ANYWAY, I'LL WIRE YOU THAT CUBE I PROMISED. CHECK IN AT THE LEAGUE OFFICE, THEY SHOULD HAVE IT BY THE TIME YOU GET THERE."

The snake continues to weave around the boy, and strikes him in the arms and upper body! He counters with a quick shield slam, dazing the snake and doing some damage!

Nat and Nirur look for the others, Nirur releasing Leafy to check out his battle capabilities.
The large bird has impressive physical attacks, and a weaker but ranged elemental attack which cuts the opponents with sharp leaves. Compared to Sudsy, it is slower but stronger with a more durable body and greater endurance, but little counters against fast opponents with ranged attacks.
The two find Kaguro, who is standing outside the mart.

Kaguro tests out his ring, and finds that it generates a powerful electric charge, while protecting him from its effects. It would provide good protection against anything physically attacking him, so long as it's not resistant to electricity. Coupled with another weapon, like his spear, it might be able to fire off bolts as well.
Nat walks up and asks him if he wants to fight the Boss.

I give him 50 credits for helping me find that thing I made money from! I tell him it would have been 100, a full half, if he hadn't fought unfairly! I fill him in on whatever it is he doesn't know!

(Playing stupid-good naive characters isn't very rewarding. They keep trying to give their wealth away for "fairness.")
