Wallace attemps to sprint past the tree, hoping it doesn't notice him or is to slow to react.
He vaults himself over the roots without incident, and keeps running! Soon he reaches the town.

Nirur summons Sudsy, and the bird flies up to the top of the tree to gather some leaves.
Unfortunately the bird is too slippery and the leaves too strong, and Sudsy is unable to pull them off before a branch bats it away! Sudsy hits the ground lightly, a single leaf clutched in his foot.
The tree doesn't take kindly to being attacked, and slowly crawls toward Nirur.

Furtuka: "What do the multimedia cube and aerosol do?"
Cashier: "The Multimedia cube can't store objects like a normal cube can, but it works as a phone, music player, and has a little screen to watch movies and stuff. It also holds a bunch more chips than a normal cube, so if you have lots of info chips this is better for storage than a normal cube.
The aerosol is kind of a fix-all antidote, curing a bunch of ailments, clotting blood, and sterilizing wounds. It also smells weird, so most wild animals will stay clear of you. Most cans can be used several times, but it depends on what you do with it. Curing a huge objecticon will use more than spraying yourself to keep rats away."

Kaguro continues his battle with the boxer, taking only a light body shot before kicking his legs out from under him!
The boxer's ground game is clearly lacking, and Kaguro's next move places his spear at the older boy's throat.
Boxer: "Okay, I know when I'm beat. Looks like I need to train more, getting beat by a kid like you."
He stashes his gloves and picks himself up.
"You're pretty good, did you come to fight Solid?"

Nat draws her hurlball, and lets fly! The worm takes the hit, and little specks of rust fly off! It looks like this thing is pretty brittle.
The worm wiggles its legs, and charges! Nat is surprised it its speed, and it bodyslams her leg! She keeps her balance, taking a few steps to the side to avoid the next blow.
The wound is shallow, more of a scrape than a cut or bruise, but has tiny slivers of rust imbedded.

Nirur is near Burance, battling wild Treecon. Danger: Moderate.
Nat, Kaguro, Wallace, and Furtuka are in Burance.

Furtuka buys a multimedia cube and two health chips, leaving him with 100 M.
He slots in the Info chip, and finds out its a map program.

Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)
It seems that in addition to the larger map, it also has maps for all the major towns, and also shows if they have a Boss. Nice!
Nat and Kaguro went to the fight club, so Furtuka heads over as well.

Wallace, feeling his empty-ish pockets, decides that some monie-gathering is in order.
A quick inspection of the surrounding buildings turns up a poster for part-time work.

Spoiler: Need a Job? (click to show/hide)
It's right outside a large warehouse, so that's probably where this "applying" is happening.

Nat continues her battle with the girl, getting a few hits off with her hurlball! After a particularily strong blow, one of the worm's legs is even destroyed!
The worm counterattacks with headbutts and bodyslams, continuing to assault Nat's legs! With it's own leg damage, its attack have less of an effect.

Kaguro: "I did, just wanted to see if I could atleast fight one of his students, so I didn't get utterly humiliated by him."
Boxer: "Well, I'm going to give you a tip; if that spear is the only thing you have, there's no way you could win. Even though he's the weakest, Solid is still a Boss."
The boxer fistbumps Kaguro, then goes back to wailing on the dummy.
Kaguro's jaw is feeling better.

Nirur recalls Sudsy, snatching up the leaf. Faced with a huge angry tree, he decides that a tactical retreat is in order.
Copying Wallace' vaulting, he makes it past the tree and back to Burance.

The group is in Burance.

I go to get Sudsy healed, examine the leaf, ask the people in the clinic if the leaf can be used as a chip, then go find Wallace.
