You each release your Objecticon, Furtuka using his speed chip and Wallace choosing the turtle over the lobster.
The taller boy looks impressed, and both release their own Objecticon.

Appearing on your side are the turtle, snake, and Sudsy, while Nat and Kaguro wield their marble and spear!
Appearing on the taller boy's side are a Boulder Snake, Lawnmower Scorpion, and Lamp Dog!
Appearing on the shorter boy's shoulders are two birds, one crackling with electrical energy, the other sky blue!

Sudsy and the blue bird immediately take to the air, wheeling and turning in a complex, dance-like aerial battle! Sudsy lets out a stream of bubbles, catching the other bird in the body, injuring and disorienting it!

The two snakes square off, sizing each other up! Pencil Snake lunges, scratching the surface of the opponent's hard rock skin! It counterstrikes, bashing Furtuka's Objecticon back and doing damage!

The scorpion and dog try to gang up on the turtle, one distracting the larger creature while the other attacks! The dog shines its light, blinding the turtle while the scorpion's blades clatter harmlessly off its shell!

Nat picks a target, and lets fly her hurlball at the dog! It sees her winding up, and breaks its assault on the turtle to dodge!

Kaguro stands ready with his spear, looking for an opportunity to attack.
Nirur and Wallace urge their summons on, while Furtuka takes a moment to look up adventurers in his book.

If you are holding this book, then chances are that you yourself are an Adventurer!
An Adventurer is generally described as any person who tries to lead an exciting life using Objecticon. Travelling the world and using Objecticon to battle other Adventurers are usually seen as the "goal" of an Adventurer.

Sudsy must continue attacking the wind bird! It is the faster bird-thing! Sudsy must also be careful of the electric bird, though, and focus on dodging. The electric bird doesn't seem to have an opponent, and electricity > soap.

I pull the Javelin maneuver against the scorpion

Attack Lamp Dog!

Kaguro closes in to attack the scorpion, but it skitters away from his swings and revves up its tail blade! It lunges, but Kaguro manages to dodge and draw a gash on its carapace!

The turtle, still blinded by the light, lets loose an electric discharge in the direction of the dog! The dog yelps, its back burnt, the fur smoking! It counterstrikes, darting between the turtle's legs and latching onto the back right knee!

Sudsy and the other bird continue to duel, flying frantically and launching attacks at each other! Sudsy attacks with bubbles, but the other bird sends them away with a gust of wind! The bubbles land near the turtle, soaping up the ground!

Furtuka orders the snake to himself, readying a javelin maneuver! The boulder snake follows the pencil, but it fails to intercept it before it reaches Furtuka!
Readying his Objecticon, he throws it at the scorpion! It strikes along the back, causing further damage!

Nat winds up for another swing, but is interrupted by the lightning bird entering the battle! It discharges a shower of sparks from above, burning her upper arms and shoulders!
