I'll go to the store and buy a belt. If healing potions of science cost $100 or less and I have any leftover cash, I'll buy a potion. I'll also help support Nat's stop-Kaguro-from-dying-by-my-Soapicon campaign.

Furtuka enters his house, ready for the shower of gifts that will obviously befall him.
Mom: "Hm? You still here Tuki? You're supposed to be going out into the world in search of adventure!"
Dad: "I did it when I was your age, oh the memories! Here, take my adult's wallet. I am so, so proud of you."

You have aquired Wallet of Adulthood! It holds 2000 monies, and there is a feeling of experience clinging to its leather surface.
You are in your house.

Nat, Kaguro, and Nirur walk into the Generic shop, money burning in their pockets.
Objector's Cashier: "Well hey there children, that Prof. C send you here? He always does a sloppy job of sending kids out to adventure, no idea why they keep giving him the job.
The last group bought all the fancy stuff, cleaned us right out, but we have everything you need to get started!"

Nat and Kaguro nab bracers, while Nirur grabs a belt and a couple of health chips.
Kaguro pays first, and dashes out the door with the bag of cubes! Nat grabs him, and they both go tumbling!
You are outside the Shop. Nat and Kaguro are squabbling on the sidewalk.

Wallace decides to save his money, and heads directly down the eastern path towards Bushels, the nearest town.
The grass and weeds rustle along the sides of the path, but he knows that only weak bugs and vermin live around here, so he's not worried.
You are on the Path to Bushels. Danger: Low.

Wallace sits down and waits for the others, bunch of slowpokes.
There is a nearby *clunk*, and he turns around to see a Tiny Chip Turtle amble slowly towards him.
You are on the Path to Bushels, fighting(?) a turtle.

Nat, Nirur, and Kaguro are heading out of town.
As Kaguro complains under his breath, Nat and Nirur slot their cubes into one of the four holes in their new equipment, and head off.
Kaguro follows, still grumbling.
Travelling in a group like this, most of the wildlife shouldn't pose much of a problem.
You are on the Path to Bushles. Danger: Low.

Furtuka is entering the Shop.
He walks up to the cashier and asks about the others.
Cashier: "Oh, three kids just came in and bought some stuff. They went east, so they're probably going down to Bushels."
He buys a belt and a couple of chips, then heads off to catch up to the others. The trees and bushes are noisy with activity, and he thinks it would probably be best to hurry along.
