Try to force the door open. If that fails, go into the basement and look around.

Determined to get into the room you push the door as hard as you can. It moves aside but jars a pile of debris loose, causing a loud crash.

Suddenly, you hear scratching outside the building rapidly getting louder.

using the poles to make a ring. use bedding and lighter and any wood in room to make a fire. check for windows.

You peer around, hearing a faint crash in the distance. You think you see something moving in the darkness but you cannot make it out.

After setting up a suitable fire pit you use the bedding to fuel a small fire. You open a small window on the side of the building to let the smoke out, hopefully it wil provide enough ventilation.

no,you can not rnter my sanctuary.  look for ventaltion shaft. if ther is one close the windoe and let the smoke go through there.

Head back inside and begin quietly searching the lighthouse for anything valuable or useful. Binoculars would be just great.

Hoping to properly ventilate the building you crack a few more windows. You also manage to lever open a nearby air vent. Most of the smoke will no longer remain in the building.

Search the stuff in the room.

After hearing the crash from the quartermaster's office you rush into the room just as ricky flees. There is a loud scratching sound coming from just outside the building. Then, suddenly it is gone.

Deciding that you need a better view of things you decide to search around the lighthouse for anything that will help. Suprisingly, you find an old pair of binoculars sitting on a table just down the stairs.
