Murdoch Island (Turn 9)

So here's the game gentlemen: Its 1947 and the passenger ship you were on has wrecked itself on some jagged rocks. By luck your character has washed up on the beach of an old abandoned island. The island is home to an abandoned British listening post but there is absolutely no one around.

Your job is to escape, whether that be with other players or by yourself is up to you. Be warned. There will be complications...

Rules:
1.Your character needs a name, and a skill (any one skill you want). Backgrounds are optional but encouraged. (you can join at any time)

2. You can move from one room/building in a turn, and take whatever action you want during a turn.

3. Have your character's location at the top of you post in RED

background: Ricky is a great radio sensation to friday night at 5:00 radio show. he trains dogs in his spare time. he is competent on how to build radios and things like that.


Go to the comm building. Find a dog in the kennel. see how tame/trianed they are.

Go to the comm building. Find a dog in the kennel. see how tame/trianed they are.

You make your way from the beach, drenched and tired, and enter the old comms building. Immediately you notice how run down the building is: everything is covered in a thick dust and the building looks like it has been deserted for some time. You enter the kennels hoping to find a canine companion, but as you enter all you see is wrecked cages and broken furniture. A single damaged desk in in the corner.

Go to Comm Building. Go into armory. Find guns and ammo.

You wash up on the beach, having swam from the shipwreck to the island. Determined to survive you head into the comms building a enter the armory. You are amazed at how run down the base is, like no one has maintained it at all. In the armory you are dissapointed to find all of the firearms locked up in the weapons lockers. However, you find an old pistol lying on a bench. It has 6 rounds in it. There is also a note by the pistol.

Go to the dilapidated bunker, look for alive people

You drag yourself up from the beach and head for the bunker, hoping to find someone on the island that can help you out. As you go up the hill you notice that the island is eerily quiet. You finally reach the bunker, finding it broken in places and full of holes. You enter and look around. Through the dark in the building you eventually discover a brutalised skeleton wearing a moldy british army uniform. The soldiers death was clearly violent as his leg bones have been broken in half and his skull caved in. Clutched in his skeletal hands is a rusty combat knife.

Background: Morris inherited a fair amount of wealth, and with the wealthy friends that came with it has managed to remain well-off mostly by doing nothing. As a result, he's been able to turn his attention to less... traditional pursuits. While some may question the utility of such dark knowledge, none can deny its thrilling connotations to the wealthy and bored.

Head to ruined lookout. Look out.

Drenched from your ordeal you drag yourself up from the beach and marchto the ruined lookout on top of the hill. As you reach the lookout you manage to climb to the crumbling viewing platform. You look around but as far as you can see is open ocean.

Disappointed at not finding any canines in the ruined kennel you instead decide to head to the radio room at the top of the tower. However, as you try to open the door to the first floor comms room you find it to be locked.

Tired and soaked from the shipwreck you haul yourself off the beach and head to the old barracks. Upon trying to open the door you find that it is partially blocked by a barricade of bunk beds. You manage to open the door just enough to squeeze in. Much of the interior is a mess but you manage to find a key and a note on one of the more intact bunks. Also, you find an old flashlight on the floor.
