I am going to copy the chicken entry and rename everything chocobo and make it 100x the size of a normal chicken and make it rideable.  Too bad our dwarves probably wont ride them. >_>

eh, maybe "bank balancetub" isn't rng's best work, but the others seem fine

it'd be trivial, if a bit cumbersome, to remove some less fitting words from the language files

Yep, just remove (or better rename, less work; like bank -> cellar) the modern words. Otherwise it's perfect, that's how people were calling each other in the past.

You can do many things. I think it's possible to cull and select name components; this is why Goblin names generally involve "untoward" words that Dwarf names don't.

I think everything with [CULL/SELECT_SYMBOL:ALL:SOMETHING] will add or remove a symbol class from EVERYTHING, including names.

So you might want to cull:
UNTOWARD
ARTIFICE
ORDER
TRADE
WEALTH

And you will want to select:
NATURE
PRIMITIVE
WILD
SKY

Make sure to select first, then cull, because cull removes the improper entries from the selected ones.

do atlatls fit the time and region? and i'm sure they already had bows in 5000bc
