Can you make it so that you cannot build the "normal" buildings? So as not to have a shitload of building in the b-w-menu.

You can't make reactions to do normal cooking.

You can block some by not giving the civ some jobs, I think. This may not be true.

To gather a fireproof material, you need a stone. To be clay, it must not be stone.
Well, there are boulders laying around, so some other workshop might have a custom reaction "gather a boulder" that gives a stone without mining.
And to prevent exploiting of said stone-getting, make it require 10 or 20 easily available items (food, seeds, logs).

They need stone for clay. No fire-proof item --> no making clay. Can't you just make a fireproof log?

yes, what i mean is there's little point in trying to limit the reaction to create stone, since in a normal game it's usually everywhere

that said, making the stone 10 times as heavy might be cool, as the guys would haul it really slow

Any news? Kinda really want to try this.

EDIT: How about making a rock item that isn't actually a stone. Then it could be used in items without having stone walls.

This is an interesting thread. I'll be watching. Anyways, you should make a reaction that fire-proofs logs. That'd solve the rock problem.

Also, just use bone for gems. No updating needed.

Make your civilization the British, and also have the Norse and the Celts.
