Now, perhaps its just me, but this arguement seems to abound with slippery slope argumentation. Because they decide that they want to cooperate more with their largest trading partner, they suddenly want a one world currency and then a one world government? Besides, the arguements about a one world currency, or even a single currency for just north america, has never been really considered, because, as you said, no one wants to join in with crappy economies.

This troubles me. The USA is the last group you want running a One World Government. Just how long do you think we have until belonging to this One World Government is mandatory and enforced by the US? Oh, and Canada will not become the USA's brain. No US citizen would allow it. Do you know how much Canadians and Americans despise eachother? Hell, Canada might even have a bloody civil war over this.
