No clue, it seems that you already have at least one python instance installed.

Well I tried doing it with the python version and I have python version 2.5.4 installed and Used the GTK "gtk-2.12.9-win32-2" installer. All I get is.

"Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "C:\MPS\dfcompanion_prototype.py", line 3, in <module>
    import gtk
ImportError: No module named gtk"

You did not install pygtk, as explained in the wiki.

Sounds like you're attempting to use it with something other than 40d0.

I feel kind of foolish, but how do you use the family.exe utility?  It seems like it should allow married dwarves and their children to share the same family name (at least that's what I hope), but I can't figure it out. I run it through the command prompt, but all it does is list my dwarves.  :-\

Please help, thanks.  :-[

I can't find any option for it, but are you able to make people join you in adventure mode with DC?

It is supposed to list the relationships in your fortress.

Ah, ok. I really feel foolish then.  :-[  So, how do you set dwarves to share a family surname? :)

Alright, I guess I was just hoping there was an easier way than searching through the very long word list. Thanks for your help.  :)
