Been using it for an hour or so now, and killed off all the wildlife with it. Also messed with the material requirements of artifacts and the associated skill. Nothing out of the ordinary so far, but I'll notify you if there's something.

Oh yes one big request, would it be possible to edit items (material it's made of, quality, type/material/quality of decorations) somewhere in the future?

I seriously doubt that.  Considering there are thousands of items in Dwarf Mode at a time (usually) that would probably be a lot more trouble than it's worth.

That sure would be awesome. I know how to find where the item information for a dwarf is, but not how to get its name / quality / stuff ... :( I suppose it would be possible to find the quality settings, but it's too much work for now.

thanks for the new version, bartavelle!
i nearly went insane not beeing able to find out why my moody dwarfs not pick up the cloth when they want cloth. now i can have a look at this :)

btw:

im weak bartavelle...
i can not use the heal feature not if i have it one klick away. can you make some sort of "companion-light" where i can only look at the df-internals, but not actually change them?
that wuld be real nice.

Okay, a whole line-break for three letters and again for two, completely unrequired and basically unnecesarily lengthening the page.  Same thing goes to all signing of posts.  Your name appears next to the post anyway, putting it (or, really, any variation of it, be it initials or whathaveyou) at the bottom a second time just takes up space.
Anyway: So you want a read-only companion simply because you don't have the willpower to not use the writing function?  Doesn't that strike you as self-centered?
That'd be a considerable amount of effort...

Yeah, but we let Deathworks do it because he's cool.

Everything seems working so far (have not tested some features I did not use though).  Even restored my own modifications that shows more skills and output custom "promotion" alerts :)

But I missed the zoom function.  Any plans on restoring it?
Another thing I can think of is when you zoom to a creature, you also set the current creature pointer (that lets you see the creature view i.e. (v)-key) so that it automatically shows the creature?  When I find the time, I can experiment with it somewhat.

All in all, thanks to bartavelle.  I'm finally moving on to the "big screen", now that the last important crew member (DC) has come aboard.

Updated the wiki, added a new reveal.py script to reveal the map. It is however *really* slow and somehow bugged :) I suppose i got some offsets wrong.

shpr: i sent you a private message on the forum, but i guess you never check them :)

Hmm..  Did 40a break it for the umpteenth time?  I'm too afraid to check for myself after last time (It froze my DF and killed the fort I had spent several hours on because of incompatible version)

Well, considering the last version of DC was never even released/meant for 39g, just 39f, I would assume it's again broken.

Toady quickly hacking away at bugs is somewhat bad for DF utilities ;) heheh

I didn't test it, but I heard 0.13 works.

Well, I just tested 0.13 for 39g, which works.

I'll get back with tests on 40a in a bit.

39g?  What's with all the nonexistence?
