Ah that's a pity. I hope wine support will return soon. In my own attempts at running it in linux i first built a single windows exe out of it. It is an automated process in a simple batch file using py2exe and i can send it to you if you want to release exe's and don't have your own.

new version, new issues. No surprises there. the biggest surprise is it tried to load, and looked like it would.

I'm getting the exact same error as penguinofhonor. It says it could not create the GladeXML object, but creatureedit.glade is right there!

Hrrmf.

WindowsError: [Error 299] Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed.

I need this for one thing, and that's moving a couple dwarves before they die.  Is DC capable of working with the latest version, or should I just try and figure out how to get warp.exe working?

Sorry about bringing it up, but I can't play until these dimwits are out of the danger zone, and I want to figure out how to save them.

Arg, WindowsError: [Error 998] Invalid access to memory location.

Running 38a.  Any idea what's up?
Python 2.5, GTK installed..
Looks like it's erroring out on dfwin32.py line 81, not sure why.

Ok i'm back ... I'm not sure what's next, but I'll probably somehow start working on a .exe version without python and hopefully faster.

So long as it works, it could be a bleedin' tarball for all I care.

Well, actually, no.   I don't have any method of handling tarballs on this machine.

But we others could un-tar it for you. As long as it works.  ;)

The combination of Python 2.5 + 0.10 and 0.8er files caused my last test fortress to descend into madness.

Suddenly everyone was scared of his fellow dwarves, so I got a bunch of "Brewer cancels Drink, interrupted by Peasant".

I really need an update, there is an unconscious goblin in a pit at the bottom of my stairwell and no one is getting any food!

In other words, I am unable to play until I find some way to kill this goblin via divine influence.

Same here, Companion 0.10 works fine for me. I'm working on an update to my Auto-designation macro that can use Dwarf Companion to instantly designate the patterns. Teaser movie

Released!
