Shame you don't have the seed for it.  I'd like to explore that empty world and try to find out WHAT happened.

Yeah same here, if he saved it he could always find out the world gen seed the hard way. I'd love to have it too...

or, alternatively, upload it to DFFD as a save.

World seeds are saved in gamelog.txt
So maybe per chance the seed is not lost. I'm curious about this world too.

Someone could write a short story with that premise.  It would be the scariest thing ever written.

Okay now this is just getting fucking creepy, there is no game seed saved in gamelog.txt

There is literally a skip in time between that gen, the previous and the next one, it's just blank space.

...The goblin must have been the blind seer from the before times, when the world still had a plethora of sentient races. HE WARNED THEM OF THE COMING APOCOLYPSE, BUT NOBODY LISTENED. Armok took pity on this poor goblin because nobody would listen to him, and as thus spared him. Now he stares into the sky with his souless eyes, praying for forgiveness, as he blames himself for the death his people.

And then he could have been promptly shanked by a random dwarf who appeared from nowhere.

No, that actually makes sense...except for the eyeless goblin...if you could force worldgen to run with a blank history seed then wouldn't history generation just generate a blank world history? How the eyeless goblin got there, however, is a mystery...
