On indiegala there's "Royal Defense" as a freebie, that's a tower defense type of game with visual that reminds a bit of Kingdom Rush, though there are only towers there, no mini troopers

this week on the epic store the freebies are "Jotun" and "Prey" and that epic gave away last year (but at least Prey is very good and include its roguelike-styled survival dlc), and "Redout" that looks like a mix of old Star War Pod Racer and Wipeout.
next week it's a "mystery game"

For the 3rd or 4th time i think in the last couple of years, if you missed it before the nice "Witcher Collection" (the concert, lot of videos, all the games soundtracks, artbooks, pictures etc..)  is free to claim on gog.

I've started claiming games like that (good candidates for local lan) on a second account, and one thing I can appreciate about the epic store: I can have the app running on the computer, and still login with my second account on the browser, no 2 step authentification no hassle at all, and claim the game. Feels like unheard of levels of convenience to me in the modern software hellscape.

This week the epic freebie is revealed as being a rather big collection : "Bioshock: The Collection" that include :
"BioShock Remastered"
"BioShock 2 Remastered"
"BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition"

They're probably going "all-in" to try to attract people to their stores.
Though in the case of that wolfenstein game, from what i read on the steam board it looks like its performance is just horrible.
good for me so i can at least skip this one and focus on other stuff

Ooooo man I started freaking out when I read "Wolfenstein" because I just bought the new colossus, and thought I wasted money.

Looks like there are more wolfenstein games than i thought.

In other news, you can claim on GOG the "Warhammer Skull 2022 Goodie Pack".
They did such a pack last year, but this year it includes Warhammer 40K : Chaos Gate that was a fantastic turn based tactical game in its time (with excellent soundtrack too), heavily recommended if you like the WH40K universe.
