It's older the spiderweb, even, old dos shareware stuff was usually the full game you just needed a password or whatever to unlock everything.

Meanwhile, for those interested in the visual novel genre i spotted a free one named "Dagon", based on the short novel of the same name from Lovecraft.

If you link the Amazon prime account to your twitch account, you also get a bunch of stuff monthly for the Amazon game service, and some freebie stuff for some free to play games.

Note : Legendary works really great if you don't want the epic launcher on your system.

An oddity, the Borderlands 2 DLC named "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep" has been made standalone (so without need of Borderlands 2) and free to claim (until november 16) on the epic store :

Apparently it's some kind of promotion for an incoming game featuring that character.

On GOG, good old (voxel graphics open areas were so amazing in that game) Outcast 1.1  is also free to claim , probably as a promo for Outcast 2 that is coming soon on GOG
