Next week, Epic is giving away Surviving Mars for free. Fitting, with all the current Mars missions going on.

Crusader Kings 3 has temporary free access to the game to celebrate their most recent DLC/update. The website says it goes until the 21 of the month, so if you have been wanting to give the game a try you can go to https://www.crusaderkings.com/ and it should be the first thing you see. You can also just find the game on steam if that is more your style. Keep in mind this is like a free weekend, not a permanent giveaway of the game.

This week end GOG had a promo week end for games published by Deep Silver

If there is a Deep Silver game in your library (take note that Metro Last Light that was free on GOG a few months ago and it will count as it's published by Deep Silver) , you can get for free the atmospheric post-apocalyptic platformer "Deadlight : Director's Cut"
https://www.gog.com/promo/deep_silver_publisher_weekend

There is only 4 hours left to claim it (it was running for the whole week end) at the time i write this, so don't wait for too much if you're interested.

Got greedy and went after a briefcase while three armored ninjas were getting buffed off the wazoo. Finally they cornered me, I had no movement cards, and even my Big Block Deck couldn't save me from like 70 damage in one turn.

Fights in Tight Spaces is the game.

Learned the existence of a free open source RTS game named OpenHV.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/openhv/news/release-20210321

It's a game based on an unreleased RTS named Hard Vacuum, OpenHV is made with the released assets of that rts (and completed with more artwork where needed) and using the OpenRA engine to run.

Are you looking for How did you last die? thread? Or is there a way to get FITS free somewhere?

So the conclusion I'm getting here is that we use QSPs because dwarves can't pilot submarines.

There are also various games for free on the PS4 (possibly also PS5) via Play at Home, though I’m not sure if you get to keep ‘em.

You get to keep 'em once you claim 'em... which allegedly for some people, means you have to start the download, since they reported there's no 'add to library' equivalent showing up for them.

Also, sometime in mid-April, Horizon Zero Dawn is going to be available.

I think you can start the download then cancel it.

Bit of a pain though, “add to library” is much simpler.

There’s a handful of “big name” indy titles just now, specifically Enter the Gungeon and Subnautica.

Some solid PSVR games in the current batch too, if you're a weirdo like me that has one of those.

It's possible to claim them all through the website (follow the "Get the games" button then click add to library on each game's page), so that's not an issue if you use that route.

Just all the other issues with their website which has only intermittently worked properly for me since they redesigned it. ::) (typically buttons failing to appear, now that you mention it...)
