I have never played league of legends and have no idea what is free and what is monetized in it, but on it's wikipedia entry :

This is wrong (paying unlock things, but is not necessary). And that's why LoL fit in both categories. I think it fits better in freenium, as far as our categories go.

Maybe instead of "real games", it should be renamed "regular games" as it's the basic intent of the "real game" category anyways : to make it really different from all the ones with stores/microtransactions.

... I think your lack of actually having played the game betrays you again. Extra rune pages have no in-game effect, just saves a little bit of time in the pre-game. If that. There's literally nothing in LoL with an in-game effect that can only be accessed by paying, last I checked.

It seems fine as-is, really, unless shifting around similarly categorized things (such as TF2, and presumably DotA2, were it on the list. DotA2 should probably be added, at some point.) occurs alongside a shift to LoL. Would probably switch freemium to free-to-play in the process, I'd imagine. Maybe get fancy and call 'em monetized, ha. Likely add a column regarding monetization scheme, too, since that is the general difference between strictly free and free-with-some-sort-of-monetization, heh. Right now that's generally just shoved in with the description or any notes that might be included, looking at it.

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot was awfully pay-to-win for a short time because everything you could get in-game you could buy with real money.

Also, just buying anything that affects gameplay whatsoever is going to be something like freemium...

Well, I signed up with them when they did the Enclave giveaway which was a couple months ago.  Also nabbed up the other 2 games today.  Haven't gotten any spam because of them yet.  Hell, I barely get a newsletter from them.  Not saying it can't happen in the future, but as of now they seem fairly legit.
