Discovered very recently the open source racing game Speed Dreams
It's based on the TORCS engine and really impressed me by its quality and physics :

They released version 2.0 last month and continue to develop it, but right now it full of tracks and cars.
There's even the possibility of mouse steering, and it's really well implemented as even without owning a wheel, i had lot of fun with it.

Wow, can't believe this list doesn't have Little Fighter 2 on it, hehe. I played it alot when I was a child(and still play sometimes).

Hero Fighter(same creators as Little Fighter) is awesome too. Both games are 100% free.

its a fun bullet-hell rpg with perma death. 90% free!

(it does have a optional currency system that you get with real money. But its for things like different colored clothes.)

If ya look at the bottom of the list, you should see some tabs. (Real games, Flash games/Web games and Freemium)

Microsoft Flight could be listed under "freemium". It's available as a standalone game or through Steam.

Flight is less simulator-like than previous offerings, but I'm sure the community will take care of that. Multiplayer (and other free content) is available if you have a LIVE account.

A few issues here:

1) Pirates of the Western Sea is not and has never been a "roguelike". There are NO random dungeons, no perma-death...nothing at all that is associated with roguelike games. Not even any ascii options(all tiled graphics).

2) Tower of Darkness(also by Tom Proudfoot) IS a roguelike game and is also freeware. It is unique in that it is party-based, graphical and features Tom's famous combat mechanics(like P.O.W.S., Natuk, Nahlakh). It should be on your list.

4) Also missing from your list is RuneSword I & II. A CRPG construction set and game, formerly sold through Shrapnel games(or was that Matrix?) but is now(and has been for many years) freeware and open source.

5) Helherron. The bastard child of Nahlakh + Disciples of Steel + Natuk/POWS.
It was released as freeware with this version(2.04). Like Nahlakh/Natuk/Disciples of Steel. it is a CRPG where you create a party of eight PCs, from various races and classes. Lots of bugs and a few general flaws but a tremendous game if you like these sorts of RPGs(as I do).
Download locations are becoming scarce but this one seems to work(scroll down to the bottom-most "Download" button(looks like a yellow bar).

6) Blades of Exile is freeware and open source.
