I'll defend Yume Nikki as a great game if you like surreal stuff/Horror. If you'd rather not play it for whatever reason, there's a great LP, here. I normally wouldn't go so far as to do that, but it's honestly a really great game to watch, rather then play for a lot of people. I just didn't have the patience to trial and error all the way through it, for instance, as awesome as the visuals were.

ANyway, carry on.

Honestly Yume Nikki to me is even better in the "Lets play" format then it is as a game.

Not needing to mindlessly explore everywhere certainly helps.

It is an exploration 2D platformer (in the style of "cave stories"), where a young hero has to travel from island to island to find 12 lost treasures. There are lots secrets to discover, new habilities to get, big monsters to fight and evil schemes to uncover.

Found a small one called Legend of princess. It's a 2D platformer that pokes fun at a lot of Legend of Zelda tropes, but it's good for killing an hour of time or so.

Yeah, there's a whole list in there for "freemium" stuff. There's more than a few F2P games on the list.
