I have it (from the epic give away a couple of month before) and had a lot of fun , even without the many dlc it's very good for a Panzer General 2 - like wargame.

On Gog for this "Skull" week, they're giving away a Digital Goodies Pack (just a bunch of wallpapers) but that include the old but excellent (well at the time) Final Liberation

I didn't have any issues until owl, who took a good couple of tries to get past and seemed a bit random. Got to tiger, which, what the fuck. I think I got like 10 hits on my first try with him? I think honestly tiger would probably be easier then owl in the end if I spent enough time on him, since he has little variation so you just need to learn him, but sorta decided I have better ways to spend my time then that .

Got up to just Kanga and Roo, which is when the game starts throwing crazy pitches at you. Decided that the home run goals were higher than I was willing to work for - I was getting hits, but too many were going foul or hit-but-not-HR.

I will say, for such an innocently skinned game, it's really rather fiendish.

Lol, same. I was introduced to the Japanese version, which may have been the original, but I don't know for certain. But yeah, level 1 challenge is definitely the REAL WAY to play this game, ha. I would have posted a link to the Japanese version, if I had been able to find one hosted anywhere. But seeing as how Flash is no longer supported, you sort of have take what you can find. This was the most readily accessible version I was able to stumble upon.

It's a very fun game to get mad at with other people. As such, I think its more optimally suited to be played together with a small group, taking turns via hot-seat rotation, rather than sitting around until you get bored at the game.
