Likely someone copy/pasted stuff on accident/purpose. Just fix where you can.

Really sad to see that kind of thing, but to be honest it surprised me already that this publicly modifiable list ran for so long without that kind of problems.

I looked but it seems i can't access the revision history that from searching on google should allow to revert back to a version from before that kind of spam crap happened, it's greyed for simple users (it's under the "File" drop down menu)

Creodor, maybe as you're the spreadsheet creator, you could have access to this File -> Revision History to see if you can revert to an older version.

But even if it's possible, it's just a matter of time before that list go down into crap again.
Maybe it could be a good idea to think of a different solution to maintain this kind of list.

I can see the history. getting a copy of the doc now, will try to fix what I can.

If you can restore it, go ahead and do so.

The reason I set it up like it is, is because I know myself well enough to know that I will at some point get distracted and partially forget about it, enough that it would not get updated.

One person submitted the thought that maybe a wiki would be better. I would be willing to set one up, or change the link to one, if someone can suggest a good wiki site to use. I'm just trying to avoid the entire deal relying on me.

Reverted it to that revision, downloaded the document just in case. If someone can suggest a wiki to use, or another setup that would perform better, I'll start getting something setup.

Well a wiki would be a bit big, considering we only have a list. Unless you meant adding it in an existing one.

Well, my "zero grief" plan would be you protecting the Docs list, so only you and those you trust can edit it. People then just need to mention the game here, and one of the admins adds it to the list.
It isn't perfect and personally, I don't really like it, but it would remove completely all the false entries.

Well it's on.

Fixed its URL, didn't have a hyperlink.
Since I have some spare time, I'll go hunt for similar errors and typos and such, for a while.

EDIT1:
Just noticed something (I don't know how to fix), the header is currently at line 108, where it should be at the first one.
It seems it got autosorted under N, since the first entry is "name".

Found another header at the last line, 205. I don't know where that one belongs.

I'm done for now. Fixed a ton of hyperlinks.
I've also increased the line height in Flash Games list, since the Website column was a mess.

I did notice that Team Fortress 2 was both under REAL Games and under Freemium. Should we only have it one entry?

Sounds like you were busy. I'll be removing most of the sharing functions for now, and will require that people who want to request edit rights must send me a PM so I can track who's who. This way, your work won't be wasted.

EDIT: I have set everyone on the editor list as view only. Sorry about this, I will change them when I get PMs from people. Please PM me for access. I also set public access to only view. Not ideal but for the moment, oh well.

EDIT2: As was pointed out, I didn't specify what's needed. You need a Google Documents account, and I need the email address it is linked to. Nothing else is needed.

I managed to fix the header, the one on 108 line.
I still don't know where does the second header belong. Any suggestions?
