Trolls with wool? I really want to see that :). Great work like always Toady!

I'm just trying my best to not imagine where on the trolls the hair is coming from that the goblins are shearing to make into cloth.

Just dont go pubic with that.

Neither of these have a great deal of hair, so I'm just imagining these goblins shearing trolls, and the trolls remaining very, very still.

What about this for a troll?

Trolls with wool? I really want to see that :)

Indeed. Toady, what do you envision a troll looks like? I always thought they were humanoid and not particularly woolly.

Maybe this?

Oh, come on, don't be fooled by Tolkien. Naked trolls? They'd freeze to death. All creatures living in temperate or colder areas have to have something to keep 'em warm. Dragons have fire, so they can be excused. Colossi are animated statues or something, don't need no warmth at all.

But trolls, dey be livin' creatures just like you and me. Well, maybe not you, since you have been brainwashed by Tolkien the Lame.

Trolls in the Hobbit had no problem with using fire. I suggest to read books before making comments about them.

However, in later versions, the performance of leather armours and bone bolts (and crossbows in general?), seems to have fallen off quite a bit. Injuries that are serious enough to render a dwarf non-combat, or worse, non-economic, seem a lot more common too.

Yeah. Anything less than iron is generally completely worthless nowadays. Needs a change.

The way nerve injuries work is silly, so I added a healing rate for them.

I suggest you play the game rather than rely on your head. Troll's have clothes (and the clothesmaking profession).

I drew this rendition of a troll based upon their creature description and from having looked at a troll's skin, hair and eye colour in game.

DF trolls have both tusks and horns, black skin, and white or grey fur. They are humanoid, but I'm not sure exactly how much. Of course they also have cyan blood for some reason, so I assume some parts of their complexion are pale blue (such as lips, veins close to the surface, near the eyes and so on.

I wasn't sure this troll that I've drawn is hairy enough; they may look more like how you might imagine an abominable snowman looks.

I approve. Though, if it's shaggy enough to make wool out of, you may want to go with a more curly look to the hair.
