In the site finder, does "multiple" under "shallow metal" and "deep metal" mean "lots of different kinds of metal"?

Aaaaa? My wealth rocketed up after I collected a bunch of bees. It's currently 36,000(?).

Anyone have any idea why goblins don't have to eat or drink anymore?

Probably unfinished economic stuff:

Will elf, goblin and koblin civilizations be integrated into the new economy system as well?
If yes, how will they get their food seeing that they don't do farming?

The elves pretend farm right now.  Goblins don't need to eat.  Kobolds forage for vermin.  They should be part of the new economy, although kobolds are just parasitic.

For whatever reason, no matter if I run it in windowed, fullscreen, with/without true-type font, or whatever...

The screen is always really...really...really... small. Like, smaller than the textbox I'm typing in to make this post. I've re-downloaded, tried every init.ini file setting I could think of, and still can't get the screen to be larger (even with RESIZABLE:YES). The window resizes, but the actual gameplay screen remains as a small box.

Is there something I'm missing here?

What OS and PRINT_MODE are you using?  Did you get 31.19 Legacy or 31.19 SDL?

I'm still curious about the justification, though, and what Toady intends to do with them in the future.

Maybe they're immortal creatures whose lust to kill and torture drives them to live even without mortal sustenance?

Would certainly explain why the goblin prisoner I walled up years ago is still alive.

Getting a minor oddity that a world param that used to gen easily now comes up not able to get enough 199-something elevation.   Probably just a result of some worldgen tweaking.  And nothing major.

Have a nice sleep Toady! You'll probably need it when ya wake up. This is an odd numbered release after all.

I grabbed SDL  :o

Print mode: 2D,  OS: Win7

I've always been able to run DF fine with just default init settings in the past (up to .18)

Try changing the PRINT_MODE and make sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date.

Unfortunately, no luck.

I just downloaded the latest Catalyst drivers (released yesterday!) as well as tried each possible PRINT_MODE option.
I can't imagine much has changed (graphically) since .18 release which runs just fine...

It's almost like the client doesn't register the fact that it should resize the game screen to the size of the window, even though it explicitly says to do it in the INIT file.

Hmmm, the elves can't work with honey?  Is that to prevent them from making mead?

ETA: Also, why aren't beekeeping and wax-working among the permitted jobs?
