Something i noticed
« on: March 15, 2007, 02:59:00 pm »

I have messed about with my dwarves a bit and gave them the ability to fly and to resist heat. This works fine until you start mining out the other side of the magma. The dwarves then run across the magma to mine the stone but refuse to cross back afterwards as they would have to cross the magma. I know it is probably in their pathfinding that they will not cross magma but therefore they wouldnt cross it in the first place.

Yeah, the fortress game really isn't meant to support non-dwarves at this point.  All of the precalcs I do to speed things up are done with actual dwarves in mind.
