Rage of the Greeks

Spoiler: Mr. Hooty (click to show/hide)

With that out of the way, we can return to the more important matters at hand.

Being Greek.

Sadly, some barbarians had decided to inflict a horrible plague on Thessalonica, which you would undoubtedly remember was in our hands.

I wonder who could have done it?

Come mighty Greeks! Against enemies as weak as these we cannot falter! Soon the entire civilized world will be under our sway!

Wait. What happened? Have, have Messana and Pergamum really fallen to the barbarian hordes? Is it even possible?

I've, I've got to go lie down.

(Somehow I accidentally saved after autocalcing those battles. I was probably trying to quit while the barbarians were doing their turns. Saving must have been a reflex action.)

Spoiler: Siege of Athens (click to show/hide)

With Athens persuaded to join us, hopefully we can avenge our fallen comrades.

And perhaps earn a little money while doing so.

Pwnzerfaust could not helplessly let the enemy loot and plunder Messana. He assembled an army to engage these possibly plague-filled barbarians. Like all barbarians, these Romans breed like rabbits, and they landed another army to oppose Pwnzerfaust.

Right. I'm back. What did I miss?

Damn it. Aren't the Romans happy with Messana?

Thankfully, the gods themselves came to our aid, striking the Romans down with an earthquake.

In their confused state, the mere suggestion of an attack was enough to send them running.

Spoiler: Recapture of Messana (click to show/hide)

Boski was inspired by Pwnzerfaust's victory, and soon arranged to disembark in Asia Minor, to show Pontus that Greece is not to be trifled with. But first, Pergamum must be liberated!

Spoiler: Retaking of Pergamum (click to show/hide)

(In case you haven't realized by now, I'm kinda censoring the battles to be a little more Greek friendly.)

Because there are people in their pajamas. ;)

And they're being chased by a horde of angry, unclothed chaps with big swords.

Cool. I'm playing the Greeks too in my game, only the people of sarycuse kicked me out, so I took the romans shit. I also rapped 3 massively larger Egyptian armies due to the following:
POKE POKE STAB STAB DIE DIE DIE!

The second we get a captain promoted to general, I want to be "Greeked" as him.

only the people of Syracuse kicked me out,

...

Why did you make them kick you out? Did they really hate you that much?

(Plus, you can make Spartans from there.)

Couldn't figure out why there so angry. I had a huge military persent.

I am also on my way to replcaing all my hoplites with Armoured Hoplites. I estimate at least half my military is made of just level 2-3 Armoured Hoplites.

All thanks for Nike Temple and Spartan military spam. Once I get the last Baracks to make Spartans I will spam those instead. You know how thats going to turn out.

Thats why you have Calvay, other archers, and the "turn off phalanx" button.
