Greece: Total War LP: Masters of Rome
« on: February 14, 2011, 07:40:06 pm »

With Zrk2's Total War Let's Play on hold due to lack of a game, and with my Roman campaign wearing a bit thin, I have decided to do a Let's Play of Rome: Total War, my very first one.

In case you couldn't tell, this will be my second campaign in Rome: Total War.

So, first things first, which faction should I be? (Any help or suggestions would be welcome while playing.)

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Egypt, Show them whose the oldest kid on the block

Only play Egypt if the game is modded. :P

Well, to get in Egypt as a unique faction they had to play with time a bit because at the point the game is based Egypt was basically another Greece, and that would be less fun. It's like the rule of cool.

Good news: Managed to secure an amazing defence of Thermon.

Bad news: Forgot to install FRAPS/set replays in Rome Total War.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-

(Still, it was epic. I'll write something up tomorrow.)
