Right, well, this will be a feudal adventure. Clever naming, I know. A lot of this game, for better or for worse, will be based around the awesome/terrible art I'm going to be churning out. As my scanner is in an unknown state, somewhere in the void, this will mean the actual gameplay will be delayed. Semi-fortunately, I think that making your people will fill up that gap nicely. So, here is the gist of things; It is medieval sort-of-Europe, as realistic as I feel like making it, and low magic. The details for making your awesome person are below.
First name:
Gender:
Age: (late teens to early thirties, unless you PM me)
Distribution of points: (see spoilers, and please also spoiler yours).
Height: (Everyone was smaller then, so if you are thinking in modern heights, subtract a foot everywhere).
Attributes
There are six physical attributes, that rank on a scale of 1-10. These six are: Strength, Health, Dexterity, Agility, Endurance, and Flexibility. You have 4 points in each of these. You have two points you can add on to what you choose, and cannot subtract.
There are also six mental attributes, on the same scale. These six are: Focus, Speed, Complexity, Intuition, Intelligence, and Grasp. You have, again, 4 points in each of these. You cannot subtract, but you can distribute three points.
Finally, there are your senses. You have four points in each sense, and can distribute two points.
Weapon Skills
You have five points to distribute in weapon skills. The scale is an adjective based one, where from worst to best it goes: Untrained, Uncomfortable, Shaky, Capable, Competent, Good, Skilled, Professional, Renowned. The melee categories are: Sword, Spear, Axe, Flail, Club, Polearm, Wrestler, and Fighter. The ranged categories are: Bow, Crossbow, Throwing, Marksman. The pacifist categories are: Sage, Priest, Druid.
Talents
You have seven of these points to distribute. These are not really talents, but rather labors you have taken up. There is: Commerce, Record Keeping, Woodskills, Hunting, Trapping, Carpentry, Whittling, Fletching, Pottery, Leatherwork, Glasswork, Sculpting, Weaving, Textiles, Brewing, Masonry, Smelting, Metalwork, Metalcraft, Armoring, Weaponcraft, Fishing, Sailing, Butchery, Cooking, Porting&Carting, Riding, Beastmastery, Boat building, Architecture, First aid, Surgery, Herbcraft, Engineering, Jeweling, Appraising, Diplomacy, Leadership, Teaching, and Tactics.
Note: If you copy and paste, please remove stuff that you don't put points in.
The last part is choosing what cultural group you hail from, out of the ones displayed on this image.
Also of what you choose, will be who you are grouped with. I'm rail-roading the hell out of the early game, and am putting you all into a clan together, in two families of the clan, in a group of two and a group of three. You'll be deciding what your groups are, and what your last name is for your group, and all together you will pick your clan name. Be wary, age and gender are going to have boons and consequences, as of the time.
