Healing in the newest version

I had a hunter get injured. He went to rest, healed from a yellow wound pretty much instantly, had a tantrum, killed some dogs and was fine again.

Was he meant to heal that quickly?

It's really strange right now.  If it was close to a season change that's probably what it was.
