Flooring Bug
« on: November 08, 2007, 03:43:00 am »

Alright, unlike the strangeness I found with flooring I talked about in the suggestions thread, this one is a bug.

Simple and to the point: Build a floor over a gap, then go down one level and build a wall underneath it. Go back up and remove the flooring. You'll notice the dwarf is probably stuck. Using the look command, you'll also notice that despite standing on the top of the wall, it registers at him/her standing on open space.

I hope this is enough information to remedy the problem, and sorry if this has already been posted...

Other info: Starting Tower-Cap Wood floor over stone wall. The stone wall was suspended over a 10-level gap underneath with a river at the bottom. I can't recall the name of the stone, unfortunately. Brown color, starts with a C.

Ah, just ask if you need any more info.
