Was shadowing an unescorted convoy when that motherfucker showed up and dropped a bomb on me and started strafing me until I went under.  Almost lost the convoy till I said fuck it and charged it at flank(After I lost the bird) and ripped them apart with my deck gun. (+ a couple torps)

Was that Myth 1 or 2? I remember so much friendly fire from those guys. I never really played single player, but my brother and I fought eachother a few times and every time, only 1 or 2 units survived.

Also, Rilder?  I know I keep seeing those hyper-realistic manual control sub games around.  Which one is that, is it the most fun sub game currently available, if not which one is, and are they on Steam?

Try maxing the strength augmentation, picking them up and throwing them.  You can huck them fully across rooms.  Also since corpses you are holding do a superman flying pose this is extra hilarious.

A picture Haxus (the lead dev) took in Shores of Hazeron of my carrier/mothership with 13 ships attached (one out on a scouting mission) and a station docked in the back.

Myth 2. And yes, my early days with the game were also plagued with Dwarves "accidentally" (though I sometimes wonder...) exploding multiple friendly units with stray molotovs. Pretty easy to avoid once you get the hang of the game, though you'll always have occasions where, say, one exploding molotov redirects another straight into a group of your guys. Part of the fun, I say.

Also, you should definitely give the single player game another go if you didn't get into it earlier. It's fantastic. I'd go so far to say it's the best squad based RTS game that I've ever come across. Plus the Project Magma team are constantly updating the game's engine with enhanced features. AND you can play Myth 1 in the enhanced Myth 2 engine using the "Fallen Lords" level pack, which is free. There's also a plethora of quality total conversions and mods out there.

Interestingly enough, you can gamble at game tables(placeable in lounges or galleys). Only Texas Hold 'em and I think Blackjack at the moment, though.

A Cimarron Tanker goes up in flames after a bit of shelling by the deck gun. Also the first time I noticed that smoke billows out the portholes which is down right cool.
