Why would someone want a toy that, most likely, is structurally insecure and easily irrepairably damageable just so that it can collapse into the handle?

I prefer something that I can put together and replace damaged bits any time it breaks.

KNEX is awesome. I've got some pieces lying around in fact.

Also, I assume it meant real lightsabers. Ya know, the ones that can cut off your limbs.
