Not a nerd, but a definite geek.

I prefer the term "Intelligent Basement-Dweller".

But I dwell on the family couch...

I will claim the purple nerd, as that makes me by far the tastiest of all the delicious colors.

This makes me happy, as much as a nerd can feel happiness. So I guess... option 1?

Just be careful he doesn't end up like one of them...

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

discussion.c:20:48: error: 'NERD' undeclared

Please #define NERD for me, my compiler doesn't know what it means.

Code: [Select]
#include <dwim.h>

int main(void)
{
  doWhatIMean("NERD");
  puts(doWhatIMean("NERD"));
  return doWhatIMean("NERD");
}

(Probably needs some debugging, especially with regard to the overloaded function, and depends very much on whether you have a fully working copy of dwim.h... *nodnod*)
