Permanent, you have three or four heatsinks for the weapon and they can be reused.

 I just realized we have no medic. :X
 I wish people would look at other players characters before making theirs. Also, I wish people would take skills that are less badass but help the entire team and non-combat skills.

The Medical system of Mass effect doesn't need a medic either, slap some medi-gel on the guy that got shot and he's fine
