I should stop trying to keep this on topic. It's hopeless.

It is on topic.  :)  Irrationality, insanity, and any form of gratuitous bloodshed are on topic here.

War zombie whales?  Now those would be epically insane.

What next, war mermaids?  Or is it possible to get the game to cough up a zombie mermaid?

Mermaids are good/benign, zombies are evil, thus, no... not without modding >:3

I've heard hints of some strange weirdness if you put the good and evil next to each other.  Never had much luck getting that to happen myself on any world gen or when I did it would be "serene" and whatever the friendliest "evil" biome is.

But a little modding never hurts, like the Dungeon Master fix.  Part of me wonders if the real reason he doesn't show up is that there are no Funyuns and Mountain Dew in the game.  The DM fix is probably why I have had my exploding cave swallowman population.

Two words:
Zombie Unicorns

It's happened, reliably.

Hmmm, whenever the next scrap due to not wanting to move everything one tile comes up.  I'll have to shoot for this.  Just for the comedy value.  I do have a marked preference for good areas due to a certain delight in hunting unicorns. <_<

I would love to ride a bunch of unicorns with my dwarven companions into a elven retreat and end up showing them that their animals "friends" belong to the dwarves through bloodshed.

No, no... use the screws as treads for the dwarven tank of DOOM

Booze as fuel.

No need for weapons, since we just run the gobbos over, and plow 'em into the dirt.

That'll work for fertilizer.

How are dwarves supposed to get on those horses? They need to build a ramp or upstairs next to them first.
