Shit has now hit the fan. I think that downside I joked about earlier has come. Damn pope wouldn't let me finish killing Milan.

...

I just said 'damn pope' am I going to hell?
Likely.

But on the bright side, we'll all be there waiting for you. :P

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Remember how the Pope told me to stop fighting Milan? Well the bastards came back with a vengeance.

They besieged Milan with a full stack army, complete with bastilla. Those bastilla blew open my walls and let their masses of troops to pour in.

I tried to sortie with my governor to kill the bastilla but that only started the assault.

Their overwhelming numbers broke the troops guarding the breaches and allowed them to seize the city. After they took it they put the population to the sword. (Sorry, forgot to take a screenshot.) So, for clarification, Milan just ordered the residents of their former capital put to the sword. WTF mate?

Also, Hungary was able to take Zagreb because I had no reinforcements because my armies were all being retrained or dicking around Northern Italy. Then they brought in a full stack army that attacked my only full stack army.

Their superior troops (Dismounted Feudal Knights to my Armoured Sergeants) and managed to flank me and rout my left wing, resulting in a real clusterfuck of a battle. My troops were routed and I no longer have a quality army anywhere.

I have cobbled one together at Ragusa abut I doubt it will be able to defeat the Hungarian one.

I was gearing up to fight Hungary but with Milans' reappearance I really need to fight Milan too, hence the poll. So, I'll leave this for a while and you guys should vote and give me ideas on how to prosecute this war to bring back the glory of Venice.

Also I hold Tunis but Egypt has gone to war with me so I can't slip any troops up to Italy due to their massive navy. Oh, and Tunis can build Venetian Heavy Infantry, but I can't get them to battle. *Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*ing little *Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*ers need to go *Beeeeeeeep* their own *Beeeeeep*ing mothers!

So, now what?

Well, at one point Milan existed in South Eastern France/Switzerland for a while.

Crush Milan as fast as you can, and turn to face the Hungarian only once you've got a secure flank.

Much more useful than using units I don't have.

If I was in your position, I'd broker peace using a diplomat with one of them.  One of them is more than likely to accept it.  Then focus on the other.  That's how I usually roll when I'm starting to get overwhelmed.

Good idea, most of my troops are on the Hungarian side so I'll push that way first, then go smash Milan, again.
