Robots to get own internet, and wikipedia Robots to waste weeks of robotic lives getting in edit wars over robot anime, and pleasure robotic selves to internet robot porn.

The news articles for this kind of stuff always heavily overstate it. This is probably just a storage basin for a single center's robot's commands with a simple query system enabled. It won't even work.

tl;dr:

When people make robots that learn from their surroundings, they each store it in whatever format the programer came up with at the time and it's useless for any other ones, so some guys decided to make a central repository to store all that learned info so people don't keep reinventing the wheel.

I see.  So robots trying to perform certain tasks could automatically look online and download some programming to help to it.

We just need to make sure they don't start creating pages on Decapitation Techniques and the like...
