Duke Nukem Forever set to release in March

I kid.

It's set to release in May, actually.  And... it looks really really interesting o_O  I'm a bit worried that the game apparently still has some issues to work out, but on the other hand, those screenshots look pretty nice.  Except for that one child who looks like he escaped from the Uncanny Valley.

Watch as those graphics suddenly gain massive black outlines and a hand-painted look.

I don't know when Duke Nukem will get out of Development Hell, since it's a well-known fact that in said plane of existance time flows much differently. A week of our time is only a day in their time, so stuff takes a while.  :D

I think the release of DNF is a sign of the Apocalypse. It'll be nice to play a Duke Nukem game again, but holy crap, to come back from a black hole of development. If I'm genre savvy enough, this could mean problems for us all. Let's just hope it doesn't bring any hitchhikers with it from the development hell, which would then start stealing women, causing destruction, and all other nonsense.

I have a demo pass thanks to Gearbox so I'll see what that is later.

I've never played any of the Duke Nukem games, but reading that article catches my interest.  I hope twelves years really did it some good.

My worldview doesn't accommodate DNF's release, therefore this must be an epic troll in progress.  :P

I walked into the Ft. Hood Game stop some period of time ago to buy a copy of KHL coded and Diamond.. There was a big sign up for Duke Nukem Forever. I broke down and laughed.

My only question is if the people who pre ordered the game 15 years ago will be able to walk into game stop on launch day and collect their prize?
