I actually need to remake my account, the current one is being deleted, but I was told I wouldn't be punished for multiaccounting during self destruct as long as Im not shady about it.

My home planet was absolute garbage. I couldnt build hydrocarbons or water reclamation facilities, and it was orbit 7.

K, I'm going to uninvite you then. I'll probably need another upgrade before I can invite the last batch of people, but I'm working on it.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Is anyone else over in the far (X, -Y) range at Zone (1,-1)? I'll probably restart if not; the only ores on my planet can only be used for propulsion labs and fusion plants.

Edit: On second thought, I'll just restart. Bad position, bad planet. Not much point in staying.

Turns out I'm in 99x : -325y  Zone:0|-1

Hopefully that doesn't turn out to be an issue...
Also, the first upgrade to the embassy's done, so two more invites are going out.
Edit: I THINK I've got invites sent to everyone except Rex_Nex when he remakes. Did I miss anyone?

How do you know if your planet is any good? Mine's like a size 45 or something. Does that suck?

Invite sent. That maxes out my invites for now and I have to upgrade my university before I can upgrade my embassy again, so it's going to be a while (probably a few days) before I get more invite slots. Does anyone know if buildings max out at a certain level?

I have no idea either. Here's my planet if you want a comparison:

It also depends on minerals/water amount and planet space.

Since some food can only be gotten on certain planets.

Also I'm only 13k happyness away from being able to colonize.
So I can go in roughly 15 hours.

After a brief skim of the wiki, here's what the ores supposedly do.

I think buildings max out at level 20. Also, a tip I got from the veterans of this game:

Do not get Water Production Plants. They are ripoffs and their cost starts getting astronomical.

Well, both costs and production are exponential(costs go up faster). And they provide a considerable amount of water until something else can be arranged.
