Alright, so much progress has been made. I figured out someone from the clan is right next door to me, I finally have my colony ship in space on its way to a new planet with much Kerogen, and a nice fellow got me a good deal on 2 glyph buildings for 15 essentia. So, once I build them, I will have 6k Food/Ore income. Sexy stuff.

Hello, neighbor! There are at least 4 other non-alliance neighbors in our star neighborhood who I don't know anything about. Two of them are probably just empty empires that quit on the first day, however the other two appear to be relatively active. One of them is a lot more technologically advanced than us, and he has fighters. Don't mess with him.

Soon I shall be attempting to fill the stash with Gold, Gold is needed to build a Fighters Academy. Please note that if you see a planet or Asteroid with a good amount of gold and that its not claimed. Look towards it...

Oh now that everyone's joined, here's my referral link: LINK. Feel free not to use it or to use someone else's, I just wanted to post it in case people wanted to help me out a bit with running the alliance.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Yeah, my university's upgrading then I need to upgrade my embassy. Thanks for the reminders though, I do appreciate them. Unfortunately it's going to be 7 hours before my university's done and then about 5 1/2 more for the embassy, so probably tonight some time for the invites.

My planet has like 500 gold heh.

With this gold info I scouted around for a bit and the best I could come up with as far as gold in my Hab-Zone was  this:

Code: [Select]
    * Type: habitable planet
    * Empire:
    * Water: 5600
    * Planet Size:55
    * Location in Universe:153x : 361y
    * Zone:0|1
    * Star:Uquafluimb
    * Orbit:5
    -----
* Anthracite1
    * Bauxite1000
    * Beryl1000
    * Chalcopyrite1000
    * Chromite1
    * Fluorite1
    * Galena1
    * Goethite1
    * Gold1000
    * Gypsum1

    * Halite1000
    * Kerogen1
    * Magnetite1
    * Methane1000
    * Monazite1000
    * Rutile1000

So many people... sorry most recent people, it's probably going to be a bit before you get invites. A day or two maybe? 6 people on the list so far. Two should be invited today and hopefully my economy's going to be a bit more robust after today which should let me keep upgrading.
