It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Very interesting. The idea of being able to send out a robot to do errands rather than going out yourself is cool.

Robots to help with day to day tasks of this mannor have been around since george, it's just that their abilty to preform the task by themselves has improved a fair amount.

Does it have the ability to taze people remotely? Count me out until it does. Otherwise I predict a brief period of novelty, followed by a wave of vandalism attacks on them by teenagers who realise that the guy at the other end is

1. Too rich for his own good
2. Far away
3. Probably horribly out of shape.

On the other hand, attacking a robot with a video camera attached to it is probably not something you'd get away with easily.

*edit* I just checked their website out... how the hell does that thing carry a scone? It doesn't have any arms!

Video cameras commonly have a small range of vision.

If you're rich enough to afford a robot errand boy, you're probably rich enough to afford multiple cameras...

Video cameras commonly have a small range of vision.

It doesn't need a big one, it just has to catch your face for one clear frame.  It's how they catch criminals with trap-cars, even a cell-phone camera can work if it's just pointed the right way and the person messing with it doesn't realize it's on.

I can easily see how it can fail, just I'm talking about how it would work.

Google Street View would care to disagree, and it makes sense that you'd want a thing like that on your robot.  :D

It's only a matter of time before we create a variation of Geth.

On this day, I will DEY TUK AR JERBS! And then I'll sit back and enjoy all of my free moneys, courtesy of a massive economic boom coming from incredibly cheap skilled labor and automation. Of course, everyone will ruin it by having lots of babies, but maybe for a short while I won't have to churn out macchiatos for next to nothing.
