Tarran Smith"Screw the bot Dom, what about the multiple dead people in here?" Tarran said, lecturing Dom on her priorities for pity.
Examine the corpses one by one. If they have anything of use, take it. Otherwise, leave them alone.
You pat down the mummified corpse that the cleaning bot is still trying to pick up and start rifling through what's left of its clothing. Dominique, meanwhile, kneels over the bot itself and speaks to it in a pitying tone. You take a moment to lecture her on the priorities of things to pity, gesturing down at the mummy at your feet as a way to emphasize the point.
The fact that you are actively robbing the corpse in question detracts slightly from the poignancy of your "pity for the dead" speech.
[Luck 2, 3, 5] [Observation 1] [Dex 3] When it becomes clear that this body has nothing, or at least nothing left worth taking, you start stealing the shit off the other nearby stiffs. You do manage to find one almost pristine ID badge on a half slagged corpse, but in your avarice to start looting the next corpse you manage to trip over the last corpse's leg. You stagger in an exceedingly awkward way, but manage to catch your balance on a conveniently located railing.
[Observation 2] You look down off the railing, not really making anything out but vague shapes below. The restaurant appears to have been built in a style of dramatic tiers. Judging from the way you can't exactly tell how far down it is, you think it might be exceedingly unpleasant to fall off of one of those tiers.

Dominique Wakeman"I don't see how. It'll take only a few seconds to turn the 'bot off and those bodies ain't going anywhere. We have plenty of time to loot them," Dom said, noting what Tarran was doing.
You kneel over the little bot, sympathizing with it as it continues its hopeless effort to take the dessicated corpse away from Tarran. Tarran admonishes you for pitying the little robot when there is an entire field of dead human bodies that need your pity, what's more, he actually gives you the entire speech straight-faced while he rummages through the dead man's pockets for anything he can use. You really have to wonder what's going on in his head when he says these things.
[Mechanical 5+1] Shutting the little bot down is easy, just a little press switch under the lip of its frame. The industrial models of these things are supposed to have maintenance done every six months, but this little guy has probably gone at least half that again without a check. It's a miracle he's still working at all.
[Observation 1] You vision goes all funny again as soon as you stand up. The sphere that you can 'sense' your environment in retracts until you can just barely see Tarran moving ahead of you.

James Evan"We're going in a loop. ...I don't know if there's anything else here. But..." James turned and went back to the holo-cube thing.
You continue to walk forwards, drawing closer to the individual on the beach ahead of you. Sure enough, the beach is a loop, a linear loop that makes your head hurt to think about, but definitely a loop. The topless woman smiles at you in the exact same way she did when she first saw you, then attempts to offer you the same drink when you get close enough. You wave the drink away again and sit down in the sole chair, placing you focus on on the small cube.
It's pretty simple, featuring a single on/off button as the only interactive adornment to its exterior. In a leap of ingenuity and daring, you press the button. A small display immediately blossoms above the cube, opening up in the middle of a running program. The program depicts a glowing dot in three dimensional space. The glowing dot currently appears to currently be situated on an unusually twisted and redoubled plane. [Intuition 3] It could be anything really.
A set of four holographics tags reads, in order, "Subject Status", "Stored Figments", "Stored Memories", and "Sample 18 Status". The first and last tags are pulsing red.
