Exactly, I'm making it for myself :P

Also, I thought you were referring to Dom, Not Ash. She can make it herself then.

Tarran, wolfchild. You guys don't have actions that really do anything. I'm in the mood to do a double, but I'd rather have you guys do something useful than just wait around. (And potentially get shot at)

Alright. Wow. It's rare for you to do a double.

Peek around the corner and aim; shoot my Ichneumon left of James. (hey that rhymes like we're playing games!)

Dude. You can't see individual people. At best right now you can detect movement at the far end of the corridor.

Alright. Wow. It's rare for you to do a double.

It's saturday night, I guess that makes it all right. :P
Yeah, well, busy. Since most of my turning time will now be on the weekends I might as well squeeze them for all I've got.

Tarran Smith

Peek around the corner and shoot at the left side of the clump of dudes down the hall.

You unlimber your heavy ichneumon and brace yourself against the left corner of the juncture, training the heavy rifle down to the end of the corridor. If they're holding James they would probably be dragging him in the middle, so if you just hook left a bit you should be able to avoid unpleasantness... Should.
[Improbable Aim 2: no effect] [Quickshot 2+1-3+1, Ricochet 3-1 (No damage), Ricochet 2-2 (No Damage)] You soft shoulder the rifle a little as you fire, knocking yourself a bit sideways and skewing the shot. Metal shrieks and sparks fly as the sabot skips along the walls, bouncing and skittering off into the blackness completely ineffectually. Damn. [Speed load 4+2] (Weapon reloaded)

Ashley Fey

"OK James, sorry, but i want those things dead more than I want you alive"

Ashley Rounds the corner, Unleashing her Rifle, and activating her stormcrow implants

Tarran can't give you a clean shot to the end of that corridor, you've got six bad guys who are possibly holding one disabled friendly, and you can't see a damn thing beyond the range of your light. This wasn't going to be a precision action. "Ok James, sorry, but I want those things dead more than I want you alive," you whisper to no one.
You set the leanashe into your shoulder and plant your feet, flicking the weapon from burst to full auto. "Open Fire!" [Fire control 4-2-3+1] (Immortal Sniper 1 Armor -4, Immortal Sniper 2 armor -8 hp -3, Immortal Sniper 3 armor -5, Immortal Skirmisher 1 armor -9, hp -4, James barrier -4) The short rifle fires rapidly but inaccurately, it was built for confrontations at much shorter range than this, and even full auto can't compensate for the number of shots that go completely wild.
Harry, however, follows your example with a short burst from his own weapon. [Quickshot 5-3-4+1] The slugs scatter and strike walls, ceiling, and even the floor well before they come within striking distance of their target.
Jordan grimaces and sets his rifle to long range before taking a shot into the blackness along with the rest of you. [Quickshot 5+1-3] [Luck 2] (Immortal Skirmisher 2 armor -22) The difference is that his laser actually strikes a target at the end of the corridor instead of going completely wild.

Dominique Wakeman

Dom observed the results of her work. Taric was looking better, but still injured. Better keep patching him up. I need to practice fixing people up anyway, I get the feeling I'm going to be doing that a lot from now on... she thought, preparing to continue to work on him.

Despite the medical work and the slight stab wounds that you've inflicted, Taric seems completely absorbed in his work. You shrug once and decide to continue treating him, if you try and do it later he'll probably whine. This way he'll probably wonder how the hell the bandages even got there. [Int 2, Dex 5, Fight 2+1, Luck 3 (+3) Treatment 48/40] (Taric HP +10)
You build on your earlier work, focusing on numbing and protecting his old injuries rather than just covering them up with gauze. It proceeds quite well, though it is slightly disappointing that you don't get to use any of the more fun medical gadgets. You miss the stapler.

Taric Sizier

Taric tried once again to bypass the security that had just beaten him.

Taking a deep breath you prepare to start again. If you fail this time the system is probably going to lock you out, hopefully it won't come to that. [Mechanical 3+1 Vs Firewall 2+2] The first round comes out to a draw like before, your own creations running interference while you try to tear the actual walls to shreds. [Mechanical 5+2 Vs 4+2] The battle of man against machine finally comes to a victorious end when it attempts the same tactic as last time, repurposing one of your own breakers. This time, however, you put a little surprise inside, crippling the security system when it opens up the program and finds the gift waiting inside.
This layer of security contains only one main file, simply labeled reports. This appears to be the highest level of security on this part of the system, whatever is in that file must be pretty damn important.

James Evan

"Yes, well I was born in this body and I want to live in it." Try to find out where my normal shadow is.

You growl at the rather murderous bi-polar wench you're sharing headspace with. This is your body, she's just an accidental anomaly, something that ripped parts off another -more useful- anomaly and set up shop in your skull. "Yes, well I was born in this body and I want to live in it," you say somewhat irritably. "Where is the other one of you, the one you were beating on when I arrived?"
She shrugs, "There wasn't much left of him when you arrived, not enough left to pull himself out. The black probably got him, which means that you're the only person qualified to keep us alive."
    "Or you are."
"True," she says with a twisted smile, "but I've already done my time in hell. It's your turn now."
The ridiculousness of the situation suddenly strikes you as funny, and you bark out a short laugh. "Then we're screwed. I gain control and you probably feed yourself to 'the black' out of spite, we both die. You gain control and I spend some time running the hell away from 'the black', then we both die when it eats me. Where is this getting us?"
The female you frowns, apparently thinking the concept over. "Then we have to destroy it first."
"Yes, well, the other shadow had a couple leads on that before you pummeled him. He thought we needed a medical lab, but considering we'd have to do something that would require a conscious action like, you know, walking, this might be difficult."
The shadow frowns, actually looking genuinely perplexed.
You get the feeling she wasn't called on to think before she smashed things.

(The guy on the spaceship, as we already know? :3)

Being left to her own devices, Dom was starting to get curious. How much, exactly, could Taric ignore while working on something? Was he really so oblivious to the outside world when he had a computer at hand that he wouldn't notice anything? She'd done a lot of work on him with her medkit, stitching up his wounds, applying gauze, basically sorts of stuff that had her touching and poking him in various places, and he hadn't even spared her a glance. The medkit was running low on supplies, and Smith had probably gotten himself injured, so she'd save the last for him.

That left her with a mischievous mood and not much to do other than try to get Taric's attention, just to see if it was possible. He'd ignored (poorly done) medical procedures, he'd ignored talking... the only other things she could think of trying were violence and inappropriate behavior. Considering she had just spent the better part of the last ten minutes working on his wounds, she wasn't eager to be opening them back up so quickly. That meant there was only one option left if she wanted to test his limits.

...Still, she didn't want to be doing anything weird while Jake was in the room. Her curiosity would just have to wait. He was still absorbed in his work, so she'd have to wait to find out what he had found out. She went back into the tunnel for the moment and explored it a bit to see if she could find any other exits.

(I can't think of any way to assist you other than keep using the medkit, which I want to save 'cause Tarran's a little under 33% HP, so I'm just messing about.)
