Sorry that was more like 36 hours than 24 hours between checkings, but its still just the next day for me

Ashley Goes through her head the disposition of the immortals, and how she would have to place the incendiaries to take them all out at once, she talks to her squad about this too so they can tell her if she overlooked anything or if she was being an idiot

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

The waiting list has been updated. Don't read too much into that. Seriously. It's not because anyone failed so horribly that I doubt their ability to survive. No Sir.

Turn is forthcoming, if I get wild and crazy afterwards I might update the psionics and get the first page all up to date like a real GM.

No. If someone fails, it's always James.

Edit: Or apparently me- I just managed to slap myself in the face when moving to scratch my temple. ...uhh...

I really don't think I can slash my wrists with a medpack. At worst, a knife in the eye. A wrist? Nope.

Eh, maybe. I seriously doubt you're in trouble. I'd say of the five of us you're the only one NOT in any danger right now, actually. ^^^; Besides, Draignean's a fairly nice GM. The actual worst that could happen to you is you tie a bandage too tightly and lose circulation, realize that, and untie it, with a loss of like two stamina and no healing for your action.

You seem to be forgetting the incidents when you stapled the crap out of people and kinda hurt them... Tarran's healing went fine. He might need a hug, but he's on the mend physically.

No one's going to staple themselves. :3 Besides, Dom's Dom. Of course she goes crazy when you give her implements of minor destruction.

And when I stabbed myself with a needle a bunch of times.

Yeah, but that's 0-Dex James doing that, not 9-Dex Tarran. :P

Tarran Smith

Tarran cried out in pain and further rage as the bronze burnt him. His cries died down slower than they should, as he feels a sense of weakness and coldness from his injuries, which put out his burning rage. That didn't put out his sheer frustration, though. Ashley complaining did not improve his feelings towards Dom, which were already pretty shattered. He turned towards Ashley as he laid against the wall.

"You deal with Dom if you want to get her back, I've had enough of this shitty universe. I can't be bothered. Just... leave me alone."

Lay down and consider how much this universe sucks balls while trying to heal whatever wounds I have as best I can with the medpack.

Clutching your wounded arm you slump back down against the wall. You've never been in worse than this... Before if you screwed up there were wanted bulletins flashing across local newsboards, and peacekeepers patrols beating the proverbial bushes. Now, well now you're going to die in a dark hole where nobody on earth will ever hear or even think your name again.
Still lost in dark thoughts you take out your med-kit and strip off your armored glove, wincing slightly as it peals away from the burned flesh. [Int 2+1, Dex 3+1, Fight 5, Luck 3 Treatment 15/20] You treat the wound mechanically, your mind still lost in a quagmire of self doubt and depression.
[Will 2+1] You could really use a hug.

Ashley Fey

Ashley Goes through her head the disposition of the immortals, and how she would have to place the incendiaries to take them all out at once, she talks to her squad about this too so they can tell her if she overlooked anything or if she was being an idiot

Your last frail thread of patience snaps as Smith resigns himself to a pity puddle in the corner. "That's it," you growl through clenched teeth. You've been patient beyond all reason, you've been accommodating, you've shown an acceptable degree of friendliness. Now it was time for action.  "Congratulations Jordan, it's going to be blood and fire after all."
Motioning for Jordan and Harry to step in you call your entire team into a huddle. [Int 1, 4+1, 3+1] You're still too pissed to think straight, but both Jordan and Harry seem to be in good senses.
"Best course of action is to take them in a rush. They've given us an inch with this 'truce', let's take the whole damn mile," Jordan says with a surprisingly wicked gleam in his eye. "Harry can drop both of his grenades at once before they can take cover. We'll use the corners of the intersection to shield us from the blast, and then we can butcher them while they're still picking their organs off the floor when the blast clears."
Harry frowns for a moment and then shakes his head. "You're not geared for it. You're set for surgery, not butchery." He says, gesturing slightly to Jordan's rifle.
"Point," Jordan says with a grimace. Silence reigns for a moment before Jordan smiles slightly evilly once more. "Harry, give me the grenades, I'll drop them. Then you and Fey can go full-auto, and I'll pick up the strays. What odds do you give harry?"
"Six of them, three of us." Harry says slowly. "Two grenades, the element of surprise, and Ash and I burning them with everything we've got before they can react?" He shrugs once. "I give us three chances in five of pulling it off without serious complications, IF we patch up first."

Dominique Wakeman

"All right. Well, if you can't do anything about it, maybe I can just break the fuckin' thing open." Dom also got out a ration and munched on it idly while waiting to see if Jake had anything to say.

You pull out a ration from your pack, and invite Jake to come out of the shaft while Taric continues working. [Stamina 3+1] (1 ration consumed, +12 stamina) "Well, we got some time to kill while Sizier cracks that thing wide open," you say to Jake as soon as he clambers up into the room. "Anything else you can tell us about this place to help, or d'you just wanna talk, or something?"
Jake peers around the room for minute, wincing slightly even in the pale light of the holographic display. "I... don't really know what I'd say. Carie would be able to tell you something, but they're all programmed to ignore non-technocrat staff. I really don't know if they'd work for you or not. I'm sorry I can't be mo-"
"Woah, stop there," you say quickly. "Who is Carie?"
"Oh, uh," He stammers. "I can't remember what the acronym actually means, but most of the rooms and labs have one. It controls most of the rooms functions. Lighting, humidity, temperature, that sort of thing."

Oh. Well that might be helpful.

---

Taric Sizier

Taric tries to bypass the the encryption, Dismantling the security slowly but surely.

You stretch your fingers and get to work, digging into the edges of the outermost levels of the blanket security. [Mechanical 5+1 Vs Firewall 5] You severely underestimated this stuff on your first pass. This is not the 'meh' level of generic security present on most basic walls, this is the 'tricky as hell' level that technocrat high-rollers get. It's a good thing you're trickier. After a tense couple of minutes of false leads, dead ends, and close calls you crack the outer layer and slip inside.
The drive is just as sparse as the room outside, not a lot that you can get to from here without breaching additional security. You can access the personnel files for the station, a calendar system (clogged with numerous 'you are late!' warnings), and one set of personal notes. Everything else is still encrypted.

Where to start, where to start....

---

James Evan

Oh crap, oh crap, it was James's head maybe James could unimagine them like he'd done with the dreamscape the Technocrats had forced upon him. And he tried that, attempting to will away the tentacles.

Your head pounds and your breath -unnecessary as it is here- rasps as you continue to stand your ground. You face the oncoming tendrils with nothing but a shotgun and a heart full of courage. [Will 2] You focus on willing away the dead-black tentacles, attempting to destroy by sheer force of will. The steady pound of the agony that pierces your skill obliterates any attempt to bring your mind to bear though, and the tendrils continue to grow at an alarming rate. In seconds they're going to be able to touch you, considering that everything else they touch just... vanishes, it might not be a bad idea to retreat.

The question is where to retreat to.
