I'm so tempted to just pump that up to 80 points and fling him with the maximum amount of force I can bring to bear, but I don't want to miss and waste all that stamina. :3 Nevertheless, he and his friend should get ready to feel the 30-point TK pain.

No. You lock the recording into the emitter, the emitter plays the recording. It can record and edit, but it holds no information. It is connected to the system in as much as it can be shut off remotely and can send status updates, but it is not fully wired onto the system.
