Dominique gratefully accepted Tarran's help up and leaned on him to keep her balance. "You know what...? You're my favorite boss..." she said, looking around. Nathaniel had said something about escaping to the roof. "Cruiser firing?" she asked groggily. "Maybe... we can use the stairs to get to the roof. Or there might be... an emergency ladder in the elevator shaft..." she said. "I might be able to climb on my own." She took a deep breath and winced at the pain in her ribcage. "Tarran? ...Thank you." She looked down. It was easier for her to say nonsensical things about him being her boss than to actually thank him for saving her life, but she would just have to suck it up.

She smiled and wiped some blood away from her mouth. "Enough of this sappy shit, boss. Let's get the fuck out of here, shall we? Trol and Saun's deaths aren't going to mean much... if we get bombed to death."

I'm just going to assume Tarran put the riot shield on her back where she kept her old one. ^^

They uploaded me here when the primary AI got shorted out during the Viva le revolution. There's a download panel on the north side of the room, I think I can get the holographics back up.

A very dim blue glow fills the room as the holographic flicker back to faint life, there isn't much light in the center of the room but it's enough that you can see your hand in fron of your face.
