Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Spoiler: Initiative (click to show/hide)

Trooper

The Trooper shoots James again as he charges. [Quickshot 6+1, Confirm critical 3, James luck 1, critical confirmed.] The heavy slug blasting a fist sized hole through your suit, breastbone, heart, sizable chunks of both lungs, and a good wad of your spinal tissue for good measure. Death is mercifully quick, your spinal damage was bad, but the lack of a heart that's anything more than a lump of hamburger killed you in seconds.

James Evan

James charged at the trooper, firing his pistol as he went. He attempted to shoulder ram him against the wall, hopefully with enough force to get him to drop his rifle.

The world is cold, you vision fades to black before you even hit the floor. So this is what death feels like... it isn't really all that bad...
....
......
........ Wha?

You wake up, lying on your side on a metal floor. Your hands are bound behind your back roughly, you can wiggle your fingers a little but the bonds are tight enough that you can feel your pulse throb in your wrists. As you start to come to the pain comes back, you can feel deep bruises on your chest and back, your jaw hurts like crazy and you can taste blood in your mouth.

You have a brief moment of groaning pain and then you try and sit bolt upright remembering everything, your hands are bound behind your back but you can look down at your chest. No gaping holes, no spurting bodily fluids. Just severely bruised skin, you're so happy you could practically cry. Just one horrible, incredibly painful dream. You notice Cal looking at you with concern "Hey James, easy there buddy! You sure you're okay to be moving around like that?"

Spoiler: James Evan (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Initiative (click to show/hide)

Dominique Wakeman

Dom raised an eyebrow. Something had changed in the nearby area, and whatever it was, it made one of the troopers stand out like a neon sign in a thunderstorm at midnight. She put away her gun and shield and moved to grab him from behind. All she had to do was lock his spine and then she could snap his neck... or at least hold him in place for someone else.

You move to grapple with the Marked trooper, trying get a good lock on the man's neck. [Brawling 5+1, Confirm critical 4, trooper Dodge 4, Luck 3 Vs trooper Luck 1, Critical confirmed] Wrapping a Workwoman's arms around the Man's neck in a last embrace before twisting sideways and up, crunching the Man's spine in the process.

Technocrat 3 has been killed.

---

Trol Grane

"FUCKING EAT STEEL, DOUCHEBAG!" Stab him with the bayonet

You mind steeped in bloody rage you continue on your quest to introduce the last trooper to the end of your gun. [Melee roll 2+1 Vs Trooper dodge 5] Hitting only air once again as the trooper jumps backwards.

---

Ellen Saun

Saun gives Dom a dirty look for stealing her target and pounces on the other trooper, knives extended. [Melee 3+1 Vs Dodge 5] Apparently having everyone else die around you is good incentive to stay the hell out of the way of crazy people with pointy bits of metal and the trooper dodges with alacrity.

---

Trooper

Seeing the last member of his team fall in the fading smoke the Technocrat empties his last round into Trol. [Quickshot 3-1] Missing him, apparently his incredible dodging left him a little dizzy.

---

Jamie Teague

Fires the last round from the borrowed gauss rifle, [Quickshot 1] [Luck 3] the magnetic rails make unhealthy noises and fire out of sequence. Rather than bother with the weapon Teague just throws it away and draws out his own rifle.

---

Tarran Smith

Pull out my Jormungandr and start shooting Trooper 3 while advancing.

Putting the SMGs back on your belt you draw the Jormungandr from your back, in the time it takes to do that Dom has already dispatched the trooper you were going to shoot. Oh well, there's a whole other one for you. You walk forwards and take aim as best you can on the remaining Technocrat.

---

Taric Sizier

Keep marking that target.

Considering the man is dead you abandon that course of action and shift the mark over to the other trooper. [Empathetics 4-1] (-10 Stamina) It isn't smooth, but it goes.

---

The smoke has dispersed to the point of ineffectiveness.
