Oh crap, Dom is going to get her ass kicked... and I'll miss it due to a meeting! Damn. :-\

Morgan had better have a good reason for taking up my time.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Talisman-squad

Tarran Smith

Go to the medical area.

The Praetor probably isn't one to keep waiting, but you make no show of hurry as you leave the Signifers office. As you walk you start to wonder what must of happened to the Praetor, after all you suffered multiple bullet wounds that got bandaged with a dirty strip of jumpsuit and you were out of bed and fine in two days. Damn, man must have taken a beating.

You find the medical area quickly, and you're directed to the Praetor as soon as you tell them he sent for you. Morgan doesn't look great, he looks like someone who's been drugging themselves to the breaking point for months. His hands and part of his head are swathed in bandages, his eyes though are still bright and he's partially propped up so he can talk to another Unchained. You recognize the other as the guy who passed out maintaining the shield for the unchained back in the cafeteria, Teague was what Yvonne has said his name was. As you approach the conversation breaks off and Morgan nods to you and motions for you to stand closer before he speaks. "Fine work you did, very fine work for a new man. Teague and I were discussing what should be done about it, he seems to think he owes you a piece for what you did back there. Heaven knows that hostage of yours was helpful enough." Morgan tenses for a moment, something sending a shiver of pain down his left arm. Teague frowns but Morgan just shakes his head. "I'm fine, just a little overdrawn still. As I said, fine work. The soldiers who brought you in though, they said all of you were exhausted and half dead." He manages a rather wheezy laugh. "The difference between half-dead and all-dead is a fine one, and I know better than most. In light of your recent actions Teague asked to be assigned to you group and I added another capable volunteer by the name of Ellen Saun. They've got a few things they need to take care of but they're ready for you when you need them. They'll help share your load, and hopefully keep you from getting dead, half or otherwise."

Dominique Wakeman

Dom raised her arms in a sort of 'yeah I won bitches' type gesture as the crowd cheered. "I know, I'm awesome," she said, looking about. "Lessee... whattabout you!" she said, pointing at the one girl who was staring at her. "You looklike you could learn some... manners, missy," she said. "Come here." She cracked her knuckles and grinned over at Taric and Trollan, who she noticed had entered the room. If there was one difference between drunk and sober Dom, it was that the drunk one liked being the center of attention, and she continued to play to the crowd. "Everyone likes a little girl on girl, am I right or what? We gonna... make this thing happen or you just wanna keep looking at my scars?" she asked, pushing her rather long, shaggy bangs back out of her face. "I'm not gonna show you all of them, though! Unless you beat me... then I'll think about it..."

There is some significant cheering, laughing, and whistling while those who don't have a good view of who you're pointing at look around for who you're pointing at. When people start to realize who you're pointing at the people hush down, and merely watch the smaller woman. She smiles slowly and steps forward into the ring as your last opponent manages to drag himself out. You have a good three inches on her, and she has a decade on you. As she steps into the ring a flurry of betting rises up from the crowd, and murmurs break out in a vengeance. She bows to you slightly and you return it a little tipsily. [Alt. Melee/Str Dom 5, 5+1, 3, 3+1, 2, 3+2] Vs [Alt. Melee/fighting 'Andy 3+1, 3+1, 2+2, 5+1, 4+1, 3+2] You start out hard again, striking the smaller woman heavily with a forearm bash, she returns the favor with a pair of jabs to both of your kidneys, at the same time. You aren't too drunk to realize that this woman is much better than you, and your best hope is to outdo her in sheer strength. As you exchange blows again it becomes clear that she isn't using her strength to fight, her blows are knives to vital points, a quick jab in the stomach, a thumb pressed briefly and harshly into your stomach, or a jarring heel into the inside of your wrist. Your last stroke is clumsy in aim, but you pack some serious power into it, her's is an elegantly snaking foot that reaches up to slam your throat against your spine with enough force to send you sprawling and choking.

When you can breathe enough to stop seeing little lights you realize she's squatting beside you, looking at you with that same intent expression. "Nobody calls me missy."

Trol & Taric

Watch Dom's fight, then get in my own brawl.
If Dom fights again: Stay and watch, otherwise head to engineering. I've got work to do.

Both of you stand in awe as Dom and the other woman fight. It's like a bear fighting the worlds best goddamn ballerina, and the ballerina is beating the shit out of the bear. [Trollan Intuition 3, Tairc intuition 3] It's amazing, but neither of you really gets anything out of it that you can use. Trol looks for someone to brawl with [Luck 1] but right now all the brawlers seem to be focused on the situation with Dom and ninja ballerina.

"Teague, Saun, good to have you on our team. There's two rules that I would like you to abide to first, though: 1, don't get killed, you aren't any use dead. And 2, stay away from anyone Taric is attacking with his... uhh... *cough* porn-touching-stun-attack. I don't know what it feels like but I know you won't want to. Now, I would introduce you to other members of the team, but they seem to have gone to their own duties, so I'll have to find them first. When I find them and you two are done doing whatever you need doing I'll meet with you guys at the training hall. Morgan, I'll be see you. Hope you don't have to spend too long here, you'll miss all the fun."

Search around for my squad members.

Dom coughed several times and sat up. "Mmm. Why not?" she asked insolently, even though she felt like she did after that crash almost a week ago. There were times when a person realized that this wasn't a good idea, and now was one of those times, but she wasn't in full control of her faculties. "You look like a Missy. All right, I'm not playing around this time. Come on. Let's go a second time." She got back to her feet, dusted herself off, and got ready to fight again. No way in hell I'm gonna let that slide. I'll beat her into a Goddamn pulp. A drunken thought occurred to her, and she grinned.

"Actually, you know what? Let's make this a little more innerestin'." She pushed her hair back out of her face - it was clinging with sweat and annoying the hell out of her - and fixed her opponent with a glare. "You a psychic?" She probably was. Everybody here was to some extent, or so she figured. This was where the technocracy sent suspected psychics, which was fairly advanced reasoning considering her mental state. "Simple challenge, right. I try to knock you down with my mind, you do the same to me, whoever duz it first is the winner. Unless you're scared."

...And here's the part where Dom gets thoroughly pwnt. Tarran's going to be just in time for it. ^^

Knowing the RNG, I won't, due to this:

[Intuition:1] You are totally lost. [Luck:1] You somehow end up right back where you started. [Intuition:6] You have the nagging feeling that you are missing something awesome. Crap.

Since you've already been through here once you don't have to make navigation rolls anymore, though that would have been funny as all.  :)

A note on the NPCs, you can command them in combat but they're subject to morale, their own whims and personality defaults, psionic control, etc. They can also be killed more easily than you can. So the same critical that would leave Trol with a punctured lung may kill one of them outright.

Edit: Also, when "Talisman-____" appears that is me marking the page. Now that this thing has gotten to almost 100 pages  :o I thought it would be a good plan If I left markers that could be searched for easily.

Taric, do you accept the sparring match? It'll be hand-to-hand.
